Two Extremely Common Misconceptions of Satan

Satan, since he rebelled and fell from heaven, has been wandering around the earth deceiving whom he is able to.  Satan told the first lie ever told in Genesis 3.

Genesis 3:1-6- [1] Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the  LORD Go had made.  And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? [2] And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: [3] But of the fruit of the tree which is in the mist of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. [4] And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: [5] For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. [6] And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, an it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took the fruit thereof, and did it, and gave also unto her husband with her, and he did eat.

“Ye shall not surely die” was the first lie ever told. The manipulative tempting that Satan gave to Eve in the garden was just enough to sow a seed of doubt in her which made her give into the lust of her eyes and eat the forbidden fruit.  The lie he told was so bold, and went into such detail in tempting them by mixing the truth with such a bold and detailed lie.  It was so manipulative, that you can guarantee physicians today would label someone who pulled something like this a sociopath.  Every bit of misery to ever exist in the world, is the result of on five word lie “ye shall not surely die.”  Lying has NEVER been a victimless crime.

Satan has been deceiving people ever since, and today, has almost all professing Christians deceived with two common and dangerous misconceptions of him.

Misconception 1- Satan is the ruler of hell tormenting the damned with his demons.

This has often been depicted by Hollywood and even some Christian film productions.  We even see this as far back as the ancient Roman comedian Dante with “the 9 circles of hell.”  This is not biblical and is the work of popular fiction.  Satan is not the ruler of hell and as a matter of fact, hasn’t even been there yet.  The Bible teaches that Satan is wandering about the earth right now deceiving people as said earlier in this article.

Job 1: 7- And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou?  Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and walking up and down it.

I have no idea where this false teaching first started, I have seen Christians quote Matthew 10:28 to support this doctrine, but I highly doubt that is where it started.  I will quote the verse anyway an explain it to you.

Matthew 10:28- And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

People will quote that verse, and say that it is talking about Satan, but there is a problem with this interpretation.  Hell is a place where the lost will suffer the wrath of God for eternity, and was actually created for the Satan and his fallen angels to be destroyed in.

Matthew 25:41- Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Revelation 20:10- And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Eternal fire was prepared for Satan and his fallen angels, where they will be cast into right before the great white throne judgment (which is what I quoted from Matthew 25) to suffer the wrath of God for eternity.  Therefore Satan can not be the one tormenting people in hell.  The wrath of God is what torments people in hell.

To avoid confusion on this subject, I feel it is necessary to explain the difference between hell and the lake of fire.  Both places are places of eternal torment in flames.  However, hell is where the eternally damned are at now, and where the unsaved will go at this current age of the biblical timeline when they die.  The lake of fire is where people already in hell and unsaved people that were alive up until the vials of God’s wrath falls upon the earth.

Revelation 20: 14-15- [14] And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.  This is the second death. [15] And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

These are events that will happen during end times, and that is a huge subject that will go way off topic from this article.  I recommend this if you want to go into a more in depth study of end times.

Misconception 2- The appearance of Satan

This refutation will be much shorter than the first one, but many people think of Satan as an evil, red guy with horns like a bull carrying a pitchfork with triangle blades.  This is also the work of popular fiction.  However, not everyone thinks he looks like this.  There are some people who think that they will know for sure if the see Satan thinking he would be in an evil appearance.

However, we know that Satan’s goal is to deceive the world, so why would he come in his evil appearance?  People would know and say “you’re the devil, I am not listening to you.”  There is an easy answer for that.  Satan will not come to you in an evil appearance.  Consider the following.

2 Corinthians 11:14- And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Satan will substitute good for evil, and evil for good.  That is what makes this misconception so dangerous, because if you think Satan will come to you in his evil appearance, then how will you recognize him when he comes to you as an angel of light?This is exactly what he did to Eve in the garden of Eden.  He went to her as one who wanted to help her gain knowledge.

People, Satan is the father of lies and the most manipulative liar that will have ever existed.  Be not deceived by his boldness.  In the name of The Lord Jesus Christ I write unto you.  Amen.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Shall Not Inherit The Kingdom of God? (Refuting The False Interpretation of Popular Verses Used by Lordship Salvationists)

1 Corinthians 6:9-10- [9] Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, [10] Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Galatians 5:19-21- [19] Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, [20] Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, [21] Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Hebrews 12:14- Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Those first three verses, seem to be some of the favorite verses used by people who think that the word “repent” means to completely stop sinning in order to be saved. That teaching is wrong, it is an evil wicked heresy that leads people to think that they go to heaven because of their works.  They practice exactly what I like to call one versism where they will take a single verse out of the Bible and not relate it to any other scripture.

There are people who will try to say that “the kingdom of God” and the “kingdom of Heaven” aren’t the same thing.  That is false, they are indeed the same place.

Other than that starting with the first verses (1 Corinthians 6:9-10) and the third (Hebrews 12:14), where it says “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God?” and “without which (peace and holiness) no man shall see the Lord,” that certainly is true.  Without righteousness, we can not see the Lord.  However, we read in Romans 3:10 “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:”  The Lordship salvationists who teach that you have to stop sinning to be saved have a major problem here.  The Bible is very clear that we are all rotten sinners with no righteousness of our own. Which is why we must have a righteousness applied unto us, and the second you believe on Christ trusting Him as your savior, His righteousness is applied to you.  Consider the following passage.

Romans 3:22-25- [22] Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all upon them that believe: for there is no difference: [23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; [24] Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: [25] Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

That righteous blood of Jesus, which was shed for you, is applied to you when you trust Christ as your savior.  Moving on to the sins though mentioned in the first two passages, we read that “they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”  The Lordship salvationists will also use 2 Corinthians 5:17 which reads “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”  They will try to use that verse hand in hand with “shall not inherit the kingdom of God” to prove their false doctrine, but with a more in depth study, those verses can actually go hand in hand to refute their false doctrine, because you will find that the old creature is still there.  Old things are passed away in the new creature.  Consider the following passage.

Romans 7:15-18- [15] For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. [16] If then I that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. [17] Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. [18] For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

Paul, whom also wrote those other verses that the Lordship salvationists like to use above, is speaking of the old creature that is still present, which is his flesh.  The “old things” mentioned in 2 Corinthians 5:17 are still present in your flesh, but not in your spirit which is the new creature when you become born again.  In the passage of Galatians 5 that I posted, you will find that there are 17 works of the flesh (the old creature).  It is the old creature that commits those things, and that old creature will not inherit the kingdom of God.  The new creature is in Christ, the old one is not.  If you go to the next few verses in Galatians 5, you will find what the new creature is filled with.  Consider the following passage.

Galatians 5:22-23- [22] But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, [23] Meekness, temperance: against such, there is no law.

If you are saved, then your flesh will not be going with you to heaven.  You will be in the spirit, which is what the closing words to one of my favorite hymns is based on.

“This robe of flesh I’ll drop and rise, to seize the everlasting prize, and shout while passing through the air, farewell farewell sweet hour of prayer”

People, do not let the prideful, arrogant narcissists which preach Lordship salvation deceive you.  If you had to completely stop sinning in order to be saved, then no one would be going to heaven.  When you trust Jesus as your savior with your heart, His righteous blood washes your sins away, and you are eternally secure and on your way to heaven.  You should however, not want to abuse that mercy though.  In the name of The Lord Jesus Christ I write unto you.  Amen.

Why I’m No Fan of Contemporary Music

1 John 2:15-16- Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but of the world.

Many people know that based on my fundamentalism, that I love the old hymns.  Some of my favorites include Great Is Thy Faithfulness, At The Cross, To God Be The Glory, Leaning On The Everlasting Arms, Glory To His Name, Saved By The Blood, Sweet Hour of Prayer, and many more (I have quite a list).

Many churches today, will toss out that Spirit filled Gospel music and replace it with fleshly, worldly, contemporary music (eg. the Newsboys).  As a matter of fact, many people even take the old hymns that I like and add a contemporary beat to them.  There is a well known “pastor” named Rick Warren whom is the pastor of Saddleback Church which is the 8th largest “church” in the United States.  Warren is the author of a book titled “The Purpose Driven Life” in which he writes in page 66 “There is no such thing as ‘Christian’ music; there are only Christian lyrics. It is the words that make a song sacred, not the tune.”

While I do agree that doctrinally sound words make the song sacred, I do not like the idea of adding a contemporary/rock n roll beat to the song.  It gets people dancing, waving their arms, you know much of the things you see at rap/rock concerts.  Moments like that lift up your flesh.  It is not spiritual.

The main purpose of the contemporary movement (becoming popular around the 1980’s) was to make the church more appealing to worldly people, which is far from the purpose of the church.  Considering the first verse, worldliness is usually a trait of non-Christians.  I am not saying that everyone who is worldly is unsaved, there are many of what the Bible calls “carnal Christians.”  However, Christians should not want to live up to the fleshly desires of the world, and that is much of what you see in contemporary churches.  In Galatians 5, there is a list of the works of the flesh.  I will post them and bold the ones that relate best to contemporary music.

Galatians 5:19-21- Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

To my brothers/sisters in Christ, our music should not be worldly, but should glorify God.  We should not be adding characteristics of non-Christians to our music.  In the name of The Lord Jesus Christ I write unto you.  Amen.

 

 

 

 

 

God’s Word is Still God’s Word

There is a doctrine among some people that I find rather irritating that causes the belief that “it is not as much God’s word if it is not from the printed text.”

Here are some of the core beliefs of people amongst this crowd to give you an idea of what I mean.  People among this crowd believe that a digital Bible or a Bible app on a tablet, computer, or smartphone, is not legitimate.  You can only read from the printed text of the canonized 66 books.  Now for the record, I do believe that all of these other alleged “scriptural texts” other than those 66 books are corrupt and pagan.  I do believe God’s word is limited to those 66 books, and I am a King James Bible onlyist, but I do NOT believe it is a heresy to use another app other than a Bible printed on paper with ink, with all 66 books intact, and I am sick and tired of seeing people who use the digital apps get attacked.  Let me give you this.

Proverbs 30:5- “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.”

Does that say “every word of God is pure but only if  it is written in paper and ink and covered with a cover that say Holy Bible”?  No, it says “every word of God is pure.  People in this crowd do not only attack people who use digital apps, but anyone who goes outside of the covered book.

For example, I just recently saw a soul winner get attacked over a soul winning DEMONSTRATION video (the person was already saved) in which he was reading from a tract.  For the record, all of the verses were from the King James Bible.  Anyways, this guy was attacked, and his attackers said something along the lines of “he doesn’t even open his Bible, you must open that up in order for it to be spiritual so the person can get saved.”  Again, I will show you how this crowd adds to the word of God.

John 3:16- “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Here is what John 3:16 would say if this crowd were to be right.  “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him after being shown all of the salvation verses ONLY from the printed text Bible should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Here is the bottom line with this crazy doctrine.  There is eventually going to come a time, when the New World Order is instituted, where it will be illegal to own a Bible.  If you believe the crazy doctrine which I have exposed in this article, then you will be stuck.  If someone comes up to you during that time, and asks you how they can be saved, I sure do hope you don’t respond by telling them that they’re out of luck because you don’t have a printed Bible to point out the salvation verses.  I hope you actually explain the Gospel to that person.  This is why I believe it is important to memorize all of the salvation verses, because that day will come.  The Bible has been one of the first things banned by totalitarian governments.

No matter where it is written or if it is written on something at all, God’s word is still God’s word.  It does not have to be in paper and ink.  If every Bible on the planet was burned up, God’s word still stands FOREVER and nothing will stop that.  In the name of The Lord Jesus Christ I write unto you.  Amen.

 

 

 

The Blood of Jesus vs. Water (The Lie of Baptismal Regeneration)

There is a doctrine, that has spread like wildfire, that in order to go to heaven, a person must be water baptized.  This doctrine is known as “baptismal regeneration” and is an EXTREMELY dangerous heresy, because it teaches a works based salvation.

The baptism of a believer comes AFTER salvation as a profession of ones faith on Jesus Christ, and is symbolic of His death, burial, and resurrection.  If you get water baptized before you were saved, then you didn’t get baptized, you just got wet.  Nowhere is the Bible, do you read of someone being baptized before they were saved.  The entire epistle of 1 John, is based on the purpose of how to KNOW you are saved.  Consider below.

1 John 5:13- These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Yet, nowhere in that entire epistle, is water baptism even mentioned.  Not once.  There is a scripture however, which teachers of this doctrine love to use.

Acts 2:38: Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of The Holy Ghost.

Here is what John R. Rice has to say about the subject.

It might properly be translated here “baptized upon the remission of your sins” or “baptized referring to, or pointing toward the remission of your sins,” or “baptized in the remission of your sins.” When one repents, he receives the remission of his sins. Then the obedient heart, following Christ in baptism, is promised the gift of the Holy Ghost, an entirely separate mutter from salvation. What Peter said was that people ought to repent and then, after their sins are forgiven, they should be baptized as evidence of that. That is exactly what people ought to be baptized for, that is, to show the remission of their sins. That Scripture, then, does not mean that people ought to be baptized in order to be saved. – John R. Rice

Personally I like to try to put things in my own context, but I don’t think John R. Rice could have explained it any better.  Another scripture that is used to support Baptismal Regeneration is John 3:5.

John 3:5- Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of WATER AND OF SPIRIT, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

The “water birth” in this scripture is referring to the physical birth, not water baptism  Jesus contrasts the two in the following.

John 3:6- That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

The water that you a baptized with does not wash away your sins, the blood of Jesus Christ washes away your sins.

Colossians 1:20: And, having made peace through THE BLOOD OF HIS CROSS, by him to reconcile things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. 

One last verse to close this post to show that Baptismal Regeneration is pure damnable heresy.

1 Corinthians 1:17- For Christ sent me NOT TO BAPTIZE, BUT TO PREACH THE GOSPEL; not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

Sunday Worship Defended

The seventh day Adventists are known mainly for one thing, and that is, worshipping on Saturday, because it is the seventh day of the week, and that is when the sabbath is.  Not only that, they bash many people for not keeping the sabbath.  This page will refute their bashing of Sunday worship.

They bash us for not keeping the sabbath by worshipping on Sunday rather than Saturday.  First off, the sabbath is for the children of Israel.  Consider below.

Exodus 31:16-17- [16] Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. [17] It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

Second of all, Sunday worship has nothing to do with the sabbath.  It is for the celebration of the resurrection of Christ.  I have seen seventh dayists counter this claim by trying to say that Jesus rose on the sabbath, the seventh day of the week.  Excuse me, but the Gospel accounts make it very clear that Jesus rose on the first day of the week.  Consider below.

Matthew 28:1-6- [1] In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. [2] And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. [3] His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: [4] And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men . [5] And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. [6] He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

Mark 16:1-6- [1] And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him. [2] And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun. [3] And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre? [4] And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great. [5] And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted. [6] And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

Luke 24:1-7- [1] Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. [2] And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. [3] And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. [4] And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: [5] And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? [6] He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, [7] Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

Now you might try to say something like “He could have risen on the sabbath and they just didn’t discover it until the next day.”  Well, let us go back to Mark 16 but skip down to verse 9.

Mark 16:9- Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

The entire antithesis of the seventh day adventists is refuted with just one, but the most powerful event in the Bible, therefore the most powerful event in history.  However, let us end with another one of their dumb arguments.  They say Sunday worship is worshipping the pagan sun god.  Guess what though, I can say they are worshipping the Roman god saturn.  So there.  In the name of The Lord Jesus Christ I write unto you.  Amen.

The Truth of Luther

Many professing Christians foolishly view Martin Luther (not to be confused with Martin Luther King Jr.) as a hero for his work in separating us from Roman Catholicism even though it was God who preserved His church.  Not a crowd of reformers.

Matthew 16:18- And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Not only is this the issue, but there are obviously many Luther idolaters that don’t have the first clue of a lot of the doctrine which he taught.  In this article, we will thoroughly look into these doctrines.

Doctrine 1: Sin away

“Be a sinner, and let your sins be strong, but let your trust in Christ be stronger, and rejoice in Christ who is the victor over sin, death, and the world.  We will commit sins while we are here, for this life is not a place where justice resides…  No sin can separate us from Him, even if we were to kill or commit adultery thousands of times each day.”  – Martin Luther

There is much wrong with this ignorant statement.  Yes, it is true that no matter what we do, we are eternally sealed with the gift of eternal life once we put our faith in Christ’s work on the cross, but even if you are saved, sin is still wicked, and God will still be disgusted with you if you “kill or commit adultery 1000 times each day.”  I covered the “license to sin” heresy in this article.

Doctrine 2: Good works are dangerous

“Those pious souls who do good to gain the Kingdom of Heaven not only will never succeed, but they must even be reckoned among the impious; and it is more important to guard them against good works than against sin.” – Martin Luther

Martin Luther is right about the first part of the statement. Salvation is not of works, but he says that sin is less dangerous than good works and in the first statement of the article, he pretty much said to just sin away.  Consider the following verse.

Isaiah 5:20: Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 

Doctrine 3: Peasants deserve what they get

“Like the mules who will not move unless you perpetually whip them with rods, so the civil powers must drive the common people, whip, choke, hang, burn, behead and torture them, that they may learn to fear the powers that be.”  -Martin Luther

This isn’t so much a doctrine as it is an opinion, but it doesn’t make it any less cruel.  He strongly endorsed the cruel treatment of peasants during the “Munzers Peasants War of 1525.” He claimed to be separating from Roman Catholicism, but supported the same thing they did to Chrostians who lived by the Bible and not by the doctrines.of wicked “popes” during the medieval inquisition.  Martin Luther doesn’t seem like a hero to me.  He seems like a vicious, nasty, horrible person.

Doctrine 4: Polygamy is permissible

“I confess that I cannot forbid a person to marry several wives, for it does not contradict the Scripture.  If a man wishes to marry more than one wife he should be asked whether he is satisfied in his conscience that he may do so in accordance with the word of God.  In such a case the civil authority has nothing to do in the matter.” – Martin Luther

Marrying several wives DOES contradict scripture.

Matthew 19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh

Notice how Jesus said “wife” and not plural “wives?”

Doctrine 5: The Bible is bad

“The history of Jonah is so monstrous that it is absolutely incredible.” – Martin Luther

“The book of Esther I toss into the Elbe.  I am such an enemy to the book of Esther that I wish it did not exist, for it Judaizes too much and has in it a great deal of heathenish foolishness.” -Martin Luther

“to my mind it (the book of Revelation) bears upon it no marks of an apostolic or prophetic character…  Everyone may form his own judgment of this book; as for myself, I feel an aversion to it, and to me this is sufficient reason for rejecting it.” – Martin Luther

These are two of many quotes in which Martin Luther attacks the scriptures including the book of Revelation.  Not a smart move considering below.

Revelation 22:19- And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Martin Luther also believed much Catholic doctrine.

Doctrine 6: Mary worship

What the Hail Mary says is that all glory should be given to God.”  -Martin Luther

Doctrine 7: Confessional sacrament

“a person receives absolution or forgiveness from the confessor, as if from God Himself” – Martin Luther

Doctrine 8: Baptismal regeneration (including infant baptism)

In baptism God forgives sin” – Martin Luther

Doctrine 9: Holy communion sacrament

“It is the true body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ under bread and wine for us Christians to eat and to drink, established by Christ Himself.”

It would be wise to conclude that from doctrines 6-9, Martin Luther only left Roman Catholicism superficially, not doctrinally.

Martin Luther was no hero.  He did not save us from Catholicism.  Stop giving the glory to this wicked man and give it to God.  Since Martin Luther trusted the Catholic way of salvation, he obviously was not a saved man.  Those 99 theses will not take him out of that fire.  In the name of The Lord Jesus Christ (not Martin Luther) I write unto you.  Amen.
