John MacArthur of Grace to You ministries has been heard all over the radio and on TV worldwide. MacArthur knows how to come off as genuinely intellectual, but he is a wolf, and spiritually perverse concerning salvation and the blood of Christ. I want to deeply warn people not to listen to MacArthur, or support him by any means. The man is hardcore in his teaching of Lordship Salvation, saying that one must surrender and forsake everything, and make Jesus the Lord of their life before they can be saved. That is demonic heresy. You will never make Jesus the Lord of your life until you see Him face to face.
MacArthur denies the necessity and power of the literal, physical, precious blood of Jesus Christ. Believe it or not, this devil incarnate teaches Jesus’ physical blood dripped down and soaked in the dirt at the foot of the cross and is still at the foot of the cross, having no significance. This is a blasphemous, and soul damning teaching, because without the blood applied to the mercy seat in the Old Testament, the sins of the people wouldn’t have been atoned for. If the blood hadn’t been applied to the home’s doorpost in Egypt, the firstborn would have died.
This is the same with Christ’s blood. If Christ’s literal, liquid, precious blood hadn’t been sprinkled upon the mercy seat in heaven to appease the wrath of the Father against man’s sin, our sins could never be washed away. It is no wonder John MacArthur is wrong about salvation, he is wrong about the blood.
Because of his denying the blood, MacArthur has to teach works salvation. Nothing else would make sense for him if the blood of Christ has no effect. The following is an exact quote from him.
“The Gospel says, ‘give your life to Christ and He rules’ and if you’re not willing to do that it’s because you want to keep the rule of your own life. The rich young man wanted his own life for himself. He wanted to control his own life. He had his choice: sins, he had his choice, religion, and he wanted to hang onto control. It’s that simple. Coming to Christ means you give up the control of your life, and you yield it to Christ. That’s what kept him from salvation, he was unwilling to do that.”
First off, John MacArthur is wrong about the rich young man. Jesus was simply showing that self-righteousness is flawed in that passage. You can see more detail here, but more cringe worthy, he is wrong on what the Gospel says. The Gospel does not say “give your life to Christ. The gospel says Christ gave Himself life for YOU. MacArthur’s teaching on the Gospel is the exact opposite of what it really is.
Do not invite John MacArthur to preach behind your pulpit, recommend him, or show videos of him at your church. He is a devil.
